Flapper Head is a Sydney-based, Australian owned company. We are a small business and are passionate about the great outdoors. Our products are inspired by the love of us and Aussies have for getting out into nature- and the need to look good whilst doing so! We are firm believers in the age-old saying "No Hat, No Play!" and are excited to offer our customers a high-quality and versatile product.
Our hats are UV and water-resistant, and offer both comfort and flexibility. With a unique detachable flap, a Flapper Head hat is the perfect companion whether you're hiking, camping, fishing, out on the beach or heading to a party to catch up with mates. What is the return and exchange policy?
We offer 30-day returns for any reason and refunds. For exchanges, there is a shipping fee.

What are the sizes?
The hats are adjustable with sizes ranging from anywhere between 54cm to 62cm for adults. 49cm to 56cm for kids.

Do you matching adults and kids hats?

Do you offer subscribers discount?

I can't find the same hats that I bought before on the website anymore.
It is because they're sold out, we hide the products that are out of stock. Once becomes available again, we will publish them. The upcoming new release is December 2022 before Christmas.

When will you have new designs?
New collection of kids and adult hats will be released early December 2022.

How do I know which hats are for males or females?
All of our hats are meant and designed for all genders! We don't believe that certain colours are meant to be for specific genders. Whatever gender you identify with, choose the hat that you like :)

Are the hats suitable for beaches and water contact?
Absolutely! You can even dip the hat in salt water and the prints and the hat itself will not be damaged.

Can they be recycled? What about the environment?
The hats are made from polyester, which is generally recyclable. However, as you may know that many products do not fully recycle, there will be some micro-plastics left that is unfortunately not recyclable. We do our most to reduce harmful waste, we recently switched to using biodegradable satchels. In our facility, we recycle everything that is recyclable.

What are the hats made of and why?
They're made from polyester. The reason is to offer full sun protection, be water-resistant, lightweight and show vibrant prints.

Where are you based?
We are based in Sydney and all of our shipments are dispatched from Sydney as well.

Can you do custom designs?
Yes, although minimum quantity of hats applies. please contact us to arrange this.
